Angus Soft Fruits, a prominent breeder and producer of AVA™ varieties, has proudly announced the release of two ground-breaking raspberry varieties: AVA™ Monet and AVA™ Dali.
The new varieties, meticulously developed over years, represent a significant advancement in raspberry cultivation, offering unparalleled quality, yield, and sustainability.

To celebrate the launch, renowned food artist Prudence Staite created edible masterpieces using AVA™ Monet and AVA™ Dali raspberries. Staite recreated iconic artworks, such as Dali’s "Persistence of Memory" and Monet’s "Houses of Parliament," using the vibrant raspberries transformed into jams, purees, and coulis. Staite praised the raspberries' delicious flavour and vibrant colours, perfect for both art and consumption.
Currently, Angus Soft Fruits is conducting trials across Europe and Northern Africa, aiming for year-round production of AVA™ Monet and AVA™ Dali. Additionally, promising results from organic trials suggest further potential for these innovative varieties.
