Carrefour Expands with Major Rebranding Across France

The company is set to convert 60 Cora supermarkets and acquire 31 Intermarché stores, further consolidating its market presence.


This rebranding process, which began in October 2024, aims to provide a consistent customer experience across its stores, bolstering Carrefour's visibility in the highly competitive retail market.


As part of this transition, Carrefour is hosting celebratory sales events, commencing on 25 October, to mark the transformation of these stores.


The company hopes these promotions will drive footfall and customer loyalty, helping it to compete more effectively against its rivals, including Leclerc, Aldi, and Lidl.


These competitors have been intensifying pressure on Carrefour by expanding their market share and offering lower-cost alternatives, challenging Carrefour's position as a go-to destination for grocery shopping.
