Fresh Produce Hub Shines at IFE, Showcasing the Future of Fresh Food

The Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) once again stole the spotlight at IFE with its dynamic Fresh Produce Hub, offering a bustling destination for professionals from every corner of the industry.

Visitors enjoyed a dedicated space designed to foster networking, collaboration, and discovery, further enhanced by the presence of two of FPC’s leading voices on the Future of Food stage.

Nigel Jenney, FPC’s Chief Executive, delivered insightful remarks on the impact of new border challenges, highlighting both the obstacles and opportunities they present for the fresh produce sector. Meanwhile, Kelly Shields, FPC’s Technical Director, led a high-level panel discussion on the transformative potential of vertical farming—exploring how this innovative approach is shaping the future of food production and supply.

Adding to the excitement, last year’s Fresh Awards host, David Domoney, dropped by the Fresh Produce Hub on the final day to the delight of exhibitors and attendees alike. His appearance underscored the vibrant atmosphere that the FPC had worked tirelessly to create, setting up engaging exhibitor stands and ensuring every detail was seamlessly executed.

From showcasing the latest innovations to sampling premium-quality produce, the Fresh Produce Hub offered guests a myriad of opportunities to discover leading brands and form new business relationships. Visitors were encouraged to relax with a complimentary coffee while networking with industry experts, sharing insights, and discussing emerging trends.

With the curtain now drawn on another successful IFE, the Fresh Produce Hub proved itself the ultimate meeting place for fresh produce professionals—offering a glimpse into the future of the sector and reinforcing the FPC’s commitment to supporting growth, innovation, and collaboration across the industry.
